Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Tará Spain Tours. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and responsibilities between you (the customer) and our agency. By booking a tour with us, you agree to these terms.

1. About Our Services
We provide customizable travel packages that may include:

  • Hotel accommodations
  • Local transportation (e.g., private cars, buses, or trains)
  • Some meals (as specified in the itinerary)
  • Some activities and experiences (as detailed in the package)
 

We do NOT provide:

  • Flights
  • Visa processing
  • Travel insurance

 

You are responsible for arranging your own flights, visas, and travel insurance.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking.

  • Second payment of 30% of total price to be paid 30 days before the travel date.

  • Last payment of 40% of total amount to be paid 15 days before the travel date.

  • Full payment must be made before the start of the trip, according to the agreed payment schedule. A reminder will be sent 5 days before your due.

  • Failure to complete payment on time may result in cancellation without a refund. 

  • VAT taxes are included in the total amount stated at the quotation. Except Barcelona´s tourist tax. No hidden fees.

  • Prices are shown as an estimate only. It can vary depending on the season. 

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If you cancel your trip, cancellation fees may apply depending on how close to the travel date you cancel.

    • 30-45 days before the trip – 100% refund
    • 29 days before the trip – 40% refund
    • 15 days before the trip – no refund

 

  • Certain services (such as hotels and transportation) may be non-refundable.

  • If we must cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances (like natural disasters or serious security problems), the organiser may cancel the package. In this case no compensation is due. (by EU)

  • On the other hand, if the circumstances are manageable, we will offer an alternative package or reschedule the trip accordingly.

4. Changes to Your Itinerary

  • You can request changes to your itinerary, but additional fees may apply especially if done last-minute.

  • If a service provider (e.g., hotel or transport company) makes changes, we will do our best to offer alternatives. 

5. Travel Documents & Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for having a valid passport, visa (if needed), and any necessary travel documents.

  • We are not responsible for any issues caused by missing or incorrect travel documents.

  • If you are held by immigration authorities upon arrival at the airport for any reason, we are not responsible for any delays, missed activities, or other consequences. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all entry requirements and regulations of Spain.

6. Liability & Safety

  • We act as an intermediary between you and service providers such as hotels, transport companies, and tour guides. While we are not responsible for their actions, we will take note of any inappropriate behavior you report and, if necessary, escalate the issue to the appropriate parties.

  • We are not responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses that occur during your trip. Although we will try to give assistance as much as we could to resolve them.

  • You must follow all safety guidelines provided by our team and local authorities throughout your trip.


7. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

  • If you have any issues during your trip, please contact us immediately through our mobile, Whatsapp or email, so we can try to resolve them.

  • Disputes will be handled under Spanish law and through the appropriate courts in Spain.

8. Protection Under Spanish & EU Law
As a customer, you are protected under Spanish and EU consumer laws, including:

  • Spanish Law:

    • Directive (EU) 2015/2302 on Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements, which ensures consumer protection when booking package travel services

    • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), which governs the handling of your personal data

These laws ensure transparency, fair treatment, and protection of your rights in case of disputes.

9. Privacy Policy (GDPR Compliance)

  • We collect personal data such as your name, email, phone number, and payment details for booking purposes. It will be deleted after your trip with us ends. 

  • Your data will only be used for managing your bookings, providing customer support, and complying with legal requirements.

  • You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal data by contacting us.

  • We do not share your data with third parties without your consent, except when required by law.

  • Our website follows GDPR regulations, and by using our services, you agree to our data collection practices.

10. Cookie Policy

  • Our website uses cookies to improve user experience and analyze website traffic.

  • Types of cookies used:

    • Essential Cookies: Required for website functionality (e.g., booking process).

    • Analytics Cookies: Used to collect anonymous data on website usage (e.g., Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity.)
